A CSI expansion updates the block device size while the filesystem inside the pod still reports the old geometry during a failover rehearsal

The storage control plane moved forward and the in-pod view of usable capacity did not. Normal traffic masked the issue until the standby or alternate path became active under rehearsal conditions.
